Trip 5 is a proposed late bus leaving Maidstone King Street at 22:10, a two-minute walk from the bingo hall in Lower Stone Street, then Maidstone East at 22:15 and every stop on the way back, reaching Hampstead Lane at about 23:35. It would mean a way home after an evening in Maidstone — bingo, a late shift, hospital visiting, a meal or a film, a train into Maidstone East — seven days a week, at the same time every night.
